Fresh Page, Fresh Start
There are times when you feel discouraged and times when you feel like your life is not going anywhere. But remember that it is your life and you are in control. Fall is coming up and there’s no better time to start fresh than with the new upcoming school year. Take this chance and write the chapter in your life that you won’t regret.
It’s never too late to chase your goals. Every day is a new day and a new beginning. Whether it’s a new school year or the end of one, if there’s something you want to do, change, achieve, or all of the above, then do it. Everyone’s lives move at different paces. The right time for someone is not necessarily the right time for you. Be patient and keep chasing.
You are your own biggest critic. There are opportunities out there that you don’t want to take the leap for because you’re afraid that you can’t do it, and that all people are going to care about is your failure. However, no one cares about you, your life, and the choices you make more than you. If even you won’t believe in yourself, then who will? Remember, all the things you have achieved so far and all the things you have become good at were once things that you didn’t think you could’ve done or accomplished.
Don’t compare yourself with others. Both you and I live in a society where we hear and see so many successful people and what they have achieved for themselves. When put in this environment, it is easy to start comparing yourself to them. However, what we don’t see is the extent of all the hard work they put in: the late nights, the lack of sleep, or all the time they just want to call it quits. So while we sit at home on the internet comparing ourselves, these people are putting themselves out there, doing what they can, to have the life that they want. It’s not that you’re not good enough, it’s because you haven’t started.
Here is some inspiration from a man who never stopped starting something new.
I hope my motivational tips can encourage you to go out there and do what you want to do. Every ending is disguised as an opportunity for a new beginning but don’t wait for the opportunities to come to you, go after them!
