Don’t ever let someone tell you, you can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period

This wonderful film is extremely inspirational by demonstrating that  success and hard-work go hand in hand. Staying focused on your goals when life feels challenging will sooner or later be rewarding and ultimately help you pursue your very own happiness.

2. Good Will Hunting: Will Hunting is a 20-year old mathematical prodigy who works as a janitor at MIT(Massachusetts Institute of Technology). After a turn of events, Hunting takes part in therapy sessions with a community college instructor and therapist, Sean, who helps him unravel his hidden talents and ultimately shows how an underachiever can surely turn things around. From psychologists and professors believing in Hunting, this film unravels a beautiful story about finding your purpose and believing in yourself.

Here are a few great lessons to take away from this inspirational film. The important thing is to make sure you focus your time thinking about who you are and what you hope to achieve, instead of focusing on how others perceive you. Another motivational lesson provided from this film is the importance of learning from everything and everyone around you. What you put time and effort into will be where you learn the most from. Implementing the lessons within this inspiring film into your academics will not only help you stay on task but also allow you to think about your very own talents , and motivate you to study with a more enlightening mindset.

3. Freedom Writers:  This inspirational film is a true story based on a teacher, Erin Gruwell, who helps a group of underachieving inner city kids reach great heights of academic achievement. 4. The Help: Based on the best-selling novel, this film focuses on the lives of three distinct women, Skeeter, Aibileen Clark, and Minny Jackson, and their intertwining lives around the ideas of race, class, gender, and power. Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, a southern society girl, Skeeter, returns from college determined to become a writer. She decides to interview black maids who have spent a prominent part of their lives taking care of southern families. Skeeter sees the chance of writing a book for an editor from New York, but along the way her collaboration with Aibileen and Minny places her life-long friendships on the line. Through struggle and hope, the women unite and risk their lives to expose the racism they face and ultimately change history.

The Help carries so many amazing lessons on making your dreams into reality, working on yourself in the best possible way, and the influence of focus and attitude to help you maintain motivation. An important outlook to take away from this film is that deadlines should not be viewed as a threat but really as an opportunity in helping you focus and move forward.
