“The CD Board decided to host the Mentorship Program again this year in hopes to build a more solid foundation where mentors and mentees will have more opportunities to connect and bond. Not only do I hope mentees will receive more in-depth guidance on how to grow professionally, but I also hope they will find a community of close friends through this opportunity.”

“I applied to be a mentor because I was so grateful to have a great mentor last year. I learned a lot from her and I wanted to be able to pass down some knowledge I’ve gained from my past three years at UC Davis.”

“Mentees can look forward to mentor-mentee specific events that will help them build stronger connections with their mentors. In terms of benefits from this experience, it will be different for all mentees, since the mentor they are paired up with is chosen to specifically tailor what each mentee is looking for, whether it is guidance through career professional development, networking opportunities, emotional support, confidence building, and much more.”
